It was something that he would always love her for. He watched her chest rise and fall for the last time, knowing that she would soon be his. Angel smiled. His Willow, his heart, his everything.

Willow wonders how she never saw him before. She has sat right here in this hard back chair many times before. How did she not notice the little things that she can't get out of her mind now? Did the lamp light always hit his hair like that, making the pale strands seem to glow? Did he always make her stomach do flip flops when he walked into a room. Did his lips always look so soft? She licks her lips and wonders what they would feel like under hers.


Spike sits unusually quite on the stairs. She has been throwing glances at him most of the night. He has pretended not to notice, to be engrossed in a rather thick and dusty book. One he doesn't really even care if he reads. She is the only reason he's here. He doesn't know why he has to pretend. He doesn't know why he doesn't just walk over to her and take what he wants. He smirks. He really needs to quit lying to himself. He knows exactly why he won't take the little witch. Slutty and her other precious scoobies would have him at the pointy end of something wooden if they knew what depraved and perverted fantasies his Willow had been starring in these past weeks. Really if she doesn't quit looking at him like he's on the bloody dinner menu he doesn't know how he will make it through the research session.
